On the eve of Ugadi Festival. Government of Andhra Pradesh announced Ugadi Puraskar award to Chairman Sri. Dr. A. Sridhar Reddy Garu for his great services in Medical Field.

02-03-2018: Holi is the festival of colours. Our Children celebrated Holi festival happily by spraying colours on one another.

Events and Activities held during the month of February-2018

01-02-2018: Our Inter 1st year (Vocational ) Children have were attended for their practical exams from 1st February to 3rd February and they did well in their practical exams.

03-02-2018: A Team from Operation Love Foundation from Acharya Nagarjuna University visited Amodini Girls Home along with his team members on the Eve of the Birthday of Sri Suresh one of the team member. They interacted with our Children and celebrated his Birthday in presence of our Children. They donated ordinary food to our Children.

04-02-2018: Our Children were invited by Sri Seshiah garu Head Constable from DGP office Mangalagiri to participate in the Salvation Army Elementary School Golden Jubilee celebrations at Nambur. In this program Sri M.Daya Sagar garu IRS (Commissioner of Income Tax) from Mumbai was the Chief Guest. He spoke few words about the importance of education .Then our Children performed Choreography. They felt very happy on the performance of our Children.

05-02-2018: The damaged compound wall of Amodini Girls Home is being reconstructed.

07-02-2018: Our Administrative Officer Sri John Prabhakar garu, Sri Chandra garu Chief Co-ordinator, Sri Narayana garu MIS Asst. visited Amodini Girls Home. They interacted with our Children and gave instructions to both the Children and staff on the maintenance of Amodini Girls Home

07-02-2018: Our CK Girls School children have participated in the Annual Day function. Our Children have participated in the various Co-Curricular activities Such as Running, Shot-put, Kabbadi etc. Few Children got cash Prize who participated in the Choreography. Children felt very happy.

08-02-2018: Our Inter 2nd year (Vocational) Children have attended for their practical exams from 1st February to 3rd February and they did well in their practical exams.


11-02-2018: A Team from Vardhaman vikas Organization visited Amodini Girls Home on the Eve of Baby Kiyara birthday. They donated cooked breakfast to our Children. They celebrated her Birthday in the midst of our Children. They conducted games to our children and encouraged them by presenting small gifts and also they donated provisions to our Children. They are Oil tins-2, Bambino-10kgs, Wheat Ravva-10kgs.


13-02-2018: We interacted with all our Children about their issues and their needs. They have shared their issues and accordingly we gave few suggestions to our Children. We encouraged our children to concentrate more on studies and explained about cleanliness and personal hygiene.


17-02-2018: Our Beloved Trustee Smt.Hansa Ben Patel Garu Visited Amodini Girls. She interacted with the staff and with the children. She encouraged our children to work hard and to get good marks in their exams. She explained about Moral Values and to maintain Discipline. Children carefully listened to her words and promised her to maintain discipline in the Home.


18-02-2018: A team from Helping Hands visited Amodini Girls Home .They donated cooked Breakfast to our Children. Children were encouraged by them and learned how to help others. They enjoyed our Children’s Fellowship.


19-02-2018: Our beloved Trustee Smt .Hansa Ben Patel garu visited Amodini Girls Home along with Miss.Sheetal Vaidya Spoken English trainer from Pune. She interacted with our Children and explained the importance of English. She saw the entire campus and craft items which are made by our children. She felt very happy.


25-02-2018: A team from Rajendra Suri Jain Seva samathi from Vijayawada visited Amodini Girls Home. They donated Special Cooked Breakfast to our children. Children felt very happy.



Greetings from SKCV Children’s Trust – November 23rd 2017

On 23-11-2017 morning Sir Paul Thompson visited Undavalli Caves which are very ancient caves located at the distance of 5 kms from Vijayawada. He felt very happy on seeing the caves.

In the afternoon he has visited Premavihar Boys Home again and interacted with all the children and explained them about their carrier and bright future and conveyed his best wishes to all the children for their bright future. He joined in the dance programme performed by the Premavih ar children.


22-11-2017: Sir Paul Thompson visited Undavalli Caves along with K.Chandra Chief Co-ordinator which is located near Vijayawada. They are very ancient caves. A large statue of Lord Vishnu was also there in the caves.

22-11-2017 : Sir Paul Thompson visited Premavihar and interacted with the Premavihar Children. He explained them about their carrier and bright future and wished them all the best for their bright future. Mrs. Bhakti Manihara our Trust Co-Founder also participated in the programme.


Greetings from SKCV Children’s Trust

On 21-11-2017 morning Mr. Paul Thompson visited Child Help Desk organised by SKCV Children’s Trust at Vijayawada Railway Station. He interacted with the SKCV Staff who are on the Duty by the time and enquired from them how the children who run away from their homes are rescued by them. Later he met Sri. Suresh Babu Station Director, Sri Sambasiva Rao, Government Railway Protection Circle Inspector and Railway Protection Force CI and held discussions with them on the functioning of Child Help Desk.

In the afternoon he has visited our Premavihar Boys Home at Bhavanipuram. He met Smt. Bhakti Manihara and held discussions with her on Permavihar Boys Home. He visited all the rooms of the Boys, Hospital room, Kitchen, Cattle Shed and enquired from Staff about their functioning. Later he visited Vidhya Vihar School and interacted with the Children and Staff of the School. Mr. Paul Thompson held meeting with all the Staff of Premavihar Boys Home and enquired about their functioning. He has verified the children attendance register, visitor’s register and other important registers. He enquired from the staff about the children in which outside schools they are studying. He has verified the medicines available in the hospital room.

21-11-2017: Mr. Paul Thompson visit to Vijayawada Railway Station and intraction with the Child Line Staff at Railway Child Line Booth organised by the SKCV Children’s Trust.

In Vijayawada Railway Station Mr.Paul Thompson met Sri. Suresh Babu, Station Director , Sri. Sambasiva Rao , Government Railway Protection Circle Inspector and Raiway Protection Force office CI.

Sri Paul Thompson played cricket with the children at Night Shelter.

Sri Paul Thompson was given a warm welcome by the Vidhya Vihar Children at Premavihar Boys Home and visited  Vidhya Vihar School and interaction with School Children and Teachers.

Paul Thompson met Mrs.Bhakti Manihara Co-founder of the Trust and held discussions with her.

Mr.Paul Thompson met all the Staff Members in Premavihar and reviewed their Performance.

Mr.Paul Thompson visited Cattle Shed at Premavihar Boys Home and enquired about the functioning of the Cattle Shed.
